Betsy is the associate director of AIR, overseeing operations and the management of staff, programs, and finances. She assists in implementing the Water, Environmental, and Energy Solutions initiative and other interdisciplinary, cross-campus funding programs. Betsy came to AIR following a brief period as the program manager of the University of Arizona’s Earth Dynamics Observatory; prior to that she was the deputy director of the Institute of the Environment, a precursor to AIR.
